STATEMENT ON TRUSTEE EDUCATION AND TRAINING

As of January 1, 2006, Per Capita State Aid regulations require all library boards of trustees to participate in a minimum of three hours of continuing education related to library issues. The New Jersey State library sponsors an annual two-day training session specifically for library trustees, the Trustee Institute.
